Adelmo Fornaciari, which is his real name, was born in Roncocesi in the province of Regio Emilia, Italy. His breakthrough came with his 1989 album Oro incenso e birra (gold, incense and beer), which became the top-selling album in Italian history. Zucchero is one of the few Italian musicians who has become successful beyond the national borders, surely due to his collaborations with world-famous stars like Luciano Pavarotti, Eric Clapton, Ronan Keating, Cheryl Crow, Tom Jones or Ray Charles. Zucchero has produced famous hits like “Senza una Donna” (feat. Paul Young) or “Diamante” (feat. Randy Crawford) and has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. As mentioned in the title, at an "Otto - Live" show you can witness the living legend Otto. At his show on the 30th of April 2021 in the Mercedes-Benz Arena Berlin people can convince themselves of Ottos talent.

With his big tour through the German speaking region Otto Waalkes barely leaves out any city. The goal is that everyone gets the chance to see the living legend at least once. Many Germans associate the name "Otto" immediately with the German comedian and his signature laugh. He managed to make his common first name his trademark and didn't even have to take on a stage name like Loriot or Campino.
Otto has already celebrated great successes in his life, but according to him the one thing that is missing is the Nobel Price in literature just to "annoy his former German teacher".
Sadly we cannot offer him a Nobel Price for literature, but we can offer him a place to follow his one true passion which is performing live.
